Edie Legere-Cole

Biography

Edie has been hooking for over 30 years. She became ateacher with the Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia teacher’s Branch in 1992,
and has taught classes throughout the Atlantic Provinces as well as in
Regina, Sask. Her favorite subjects to teach are Beginner Class, fine
shading, animals and birds, Rosemaling (Norwegian flower painting),
geometrics, design, dyeing, and portraits, as well as proddy. She has won
many ribbons at the Cumberland Exhibition as well as the Truro and Halifax
exhibitions. In her Studio she carries cotton and linen backing, hand-dyed
wool, new wool by the bolt, yarn, binding, cording in different thicknesses,

as well as recycled wool, frames and footstools.
