From her home in Amherst, Nova Scotia, Karen Neary has worked as a professional quilt designer since 1989. Her work has been featured in numerous books and magazines, and exhibited around the world. Karen’s particular love is New York Beauty quilts- especially those with odd shapes - but she also designs and stitches
liturgical hangings and vestments. She enjoys teaching workshops and helping her husband with his honeybees. Karen has penned two books, Canadian Heritage
Quilting (with Diane Shink) and Quilting Beauties Come in All Shapes & Sizes, and is a retailer for Aurifil Thread.
