Lois McDonald-Layden

Lois was born and raised in a very small fishing village in Northern Nfld. A horticulturist by trade, she is now a full time felt artist

and owns a thriving felted art business, Tuckamoor Wildcrafts. An Army wife & Mom of 3, she has lived all over Canada and is inspired by its landscape.

She makes felted home decor, little birds and wool paintings. Her work is inspired by nature and includes lots of moons, sunsets, trees, wildflowers,

northern lights, and the ocean.

Lois sells her work on Etsy and in galleries and boutiques across Canada and the US. Her wool
paintings are in private collections around the world. She also loves to teach felting workshops.

Lois currently lives in NB where she has a lovely home studio and lots of inspiration outside her door. She is a member of
The Fibre Arts Network and a juried member of Craft NB.
