If you’re a beginning knitter and looking for a new challenge, this simple slip stitch cowl designed by Antonia Shankland is a great first or second project.

Students should Bring

Participants will need to bring yarn and coresponding needles.

Pattern calls for 225 - 450 yards of  DK weight yarn and 5mm(32 or 40 in.) circular needles.  Different weight yarn can be substituted for this pattern. 

Participants will need to be familar with; Cast-on, knit, purl and binding off. 

We will not be finishing the cowl in time allotted.

This cowl is knit in the round on a long circular needle.
